It's important for you to know, I consider myself a Horsemanship Artist ...
What is your breed?
I have trained a variety of breeds, from Warmbloods to Wild Mustangs, and notable others including Friesians, Crosses, Akhal-Tekes, Clydesdales, Off-track Thoroughbreds, Morgans, Andalusians, Walking Horses, Saddlebreds, and many more.
Infused in my training method is a deep respect for the horse as a perceptive and
emotional sentient creature. Mindful of each horse’s personality, I focus on building strengths and transforming undeveloped skills. The result is clear and effective communication that fosters an authentic partnership between the horse and rider.
My passion began before I can even remember.. I started in horse camps at 10, and by 14, I purchased my very own horse. By 16, I was honing my talents under the tutelage of German-born Dressage trainer George Schimpf. Schimpf’s emphasis on finding harmony with the horse and helping riders tap into their “feel” benefits me even today. It's become a vital part of what I now pass on to my students in every lesson.
My attention to detail is reflected in the healthy and happy horses I have trained. I cultivate remarkable horsemanship skills in both my accomplished show students and riding clients with a focus not just on blue ribbons --but also great care and respect for the horses themselves.
